Hello,

I am moving to Charlotte and im looking in the Prescott Village subdivision. How is the area and what are the good, safe neighborhood to live in please. Plus the rent being asked is 900 dol for a 2 bdr -1 bath, which I think is a bit pricey...

Please advise an out of state folk here, hehe

Thanks a lot,

Velane

Honestly, I'm not a fan of the area, sorry. It's a bit near several 'hoods.

In general, any rent for a house or townhome/condo under $1000 is going to be in less desirable areas I'm afraid.

Where is your approximate job location? I will try to make better suggestions for you

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the information. I am going to be working in Pineville actually. Now I see why the prospective landlord is eager to have me rent the house...sorry for the late response.

Regards,

I think the location is just fine, most people would find it perfectly safe. On an A through F scale I'd rate it a B.

Hi Trademarked,

Thank you for the information. I greatly appreciate the feedback. Do you think the price range is fair?

I'd say closer to 800 is more appropriate for a 2 bedroom in there..

Regards,
Working in Pineville you should live in Pineville, or at least somewhere on the south end of the county, not way up there near the University section of town.

You'll spend WAY too much time in traffic and waste a lot of money on gas going back and forth!
