Luigi's is fantastic. The pizza there tastes better than most from NY, maybe all from NY. And the slices are HUGE.
I just had Luigi's pizza yesterday. It was horrible. The pizza was no better than Papajohns' thin slice pizza. The cheese was burned, the tomato sauce was old, the garlic bread was horrible too. Not sure what the big deal is about Luigi's, but I had better pizza come from a freezer.
I have yet to find pizza in Charlotte that I really love, however Waxhaw Ice Cream and Pizza Works is my favorite so far.
I'm not a big fan of super thin NY style pizza, I like it a little thick, a little greasy and all homemade. No rabbit turd lookin' pieces of sausage....I want chunky pieces of bulk italian sausage, homemade sauce, etc....

Not this one again. How many nutcases are going to say that there are no good pizzas in Charlotte?
Maybe you should start a poll.
