ER cleared for Steele Creek
Carolinas HealthCare System received the go-ahead Friday to build a $19 million Healthplex, including a free-standing emergency department, in the Steele Creek neighborhood.
State officials approved a certificate-of-need for the proposal, projected for completion in September 2009 at 13460 Steelcroft Parkway, near Steele Creek Road and South Tryon Street.
The emergency room will be staffed round-the-clock with board-certified emergency physicians. The diagnostic imaging area will include a 64-slice CT scanner, X-ray and ultrasound.
Woohoo! Happy dance! That's right around the corner from us!!! Oh, yeah!!
