My husband and I are very interested in moving into Hollister subdivision, ready to make an offer. So, we're searching for all the info on the subdivision and surrounding areas. While driving on Lester Devis Rd we noticed sign 'Habitat for Humanity', looks like future construction site.
Any ideas what is going to be build there?? The piece of land belongs to Wesley Chapel based on GIS maps. Any info is very much appreciated!!!

That's the site of Wesley Chapel's new Dogwood park. There's a house on the property that they are demolishing and I believe that they are making donations to HH. If you look on the Village of WC website you'll see the details of what is being donated.

Thank you, thank you for sharing your info!!! I saw the address '121', so I guessed it was the house before on that land.
We live in Blakeney now and going crazy looking for the new house.. Love Hollister houses but I just found post about possible school boundaries changes for the next school year, so worried that my head hurts...

Presently, Hollister is zoned for Cuthbertson. I haven't heard they would be affected for redistricting. But if it would occur, the logical school would be Weddington. But one never knows.
Good Luck. It's a great area to live and raise a family.

Shea is a great builder. I built with them back in 2004 and was very pleased.

I used to live right by what I now know as the back entrance of Hollister. It's almost directly across the street from the Weddington schools. (elem, middle and high are all right there) It's a fantastic area and I would go back if my husband worked near there. You can't go wrong with either Cuthbertson or Weddington.

Thank you for your replies!! I had no idea about plans to build new park!! I love Blakeney with all my heart. We moved to the area to raise children from South Park several years ago when there were only plans to build Blakeney.. Now I really hope that we'll fall in love the same way with Waxhaw/Wesley Chapel area.
