There's a German and a Swiss Club. Their website is: http://www.alemanniasociety.org/ . And there's the European American Business Forum: http://www.eabf.info/

And this is a great expat blog: Live Work Travel USA - A Survival Guide for Immigrants

Katrin's original post dates back to 2013, but the following linked site appears relevant.

And, perhaps this returning US expat's last 7 years Asian-cultural indoctrination, work experience, and knowledge developed in Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Yunnan Province on the mainland and on the home front via my fully fluent English-speaking, native Mandarin and Shanghainese speaking spouse plus our prior experience working a few places in Europe and travel insight from visits in 75+ nations may be of mutual interest with other people and organizations in Charlotte, the Research Triangle, or elsewhere.

With plans to move to the States late this summer, we're open to all helpful suggestions, insights, and networking contacts. In advance, thank you for sharing positive thoughts and ideas!
