I am thinking of relocating to Charlotte over the next year. I will be visiting again next week from NJ. We've seen developments by KHov, of which I didn't care for the houses, and Beazer, which were beautiful, but I felt overpriced. Can anyone recommend a builder/development in the Concord area. Just my husband and myself. Still want a 2400 - 2600 sq ft home since it seems no one builds with basements anymore. Would like a nice community that offers nice extras, like a community center, etc.
Also, I want to look at condos or a starter home for my daughters family. She has two children and definitely has different needs than us. Does anyone know of a nice community with young couples such as herself.
Thanks for any info you can give. I love the Charlotte area and can't wait for next week to visit again.

I'd be careful with Beazer - I've heard them called "Sleazer" Homes by someone who installs counters and cabinets that I know.
CharlotteAgent should be able to help you - that's his part of town
Take a look at Moss Creek Village trails. A very family oriented neighborhood with clubhouse, pool, tennis and walking . MC Car homes and Evergreen are Builders in that community.
well I have been here 3 months from new york city and live in the Concord area- I went with Shea Homes because of their high reputation on quality- check out my community it is called Winding Walk and we do have basement homes here- Also community center is been built with tennis courts, pool and the works. Also when the community is finished it will have 3 park areas for kids to play-
I love it over here-Concord taxes and the homes are great- Right now it is just myself and my wife and we got a 3300 sq ft house- great investment in my opinion- let me know if i can be of my help since I just relocated too
Hi! My family and I just bought a centex home in Charlotte, and they have many other new developement locations in and around the Charlotte area. They were ranked number 1 builder in Charlotte with highest customer satisfaction. There is a new developement called Carrabus Crossing (I think that's what it's called) and if it's not in Concord, I believe it's very near to it. The community we are moving to has a junior olympic size swimming pool, playground, walking trails. With upgrades for a 2,700 sq. ft. house, we are paying 204,000. The developement in Carrabus County is within the same price range. Check it out...Moderator cut: builder/developer sales link . KB Homes are terrible from what I've heard, Beazer ranked WAY low on the scale too. Shea homes also has a great rep. Hope this helps. Best of luck!!
I visited the winding walk over the week end .Liked the Napa Floor plan.Since you are in Winding Walk what are your views related to the community positive and negative . Thanks for your feedback
what part of concord ?...I am moving from PA and we will be looking in the concord area also......thanks
