There are shootings and problems on a regular basis in the Farm Pond area. Now, that being said, Albemarle Road is a long road that actually goes all the way to the city of Albemarle so I want to be clear about the areas to avoid as far as renting or buying a home. This would be from Independence Blvd to just past WT Harris Blvd. The further away from Harris Blvd you travel, the better it gets
Mint Hill is like three miles from there. Are you saying that is a bad area?

You mean 3 miles from Albemarle Rd? Don't worry, Mint Hill is a great area!
As you travel off of Albemarle Rd onto Lawyers Rd you begin to leave east Charlotte. Since Mint Hill is an incorporated city with its own police force and stricter regulatations about not having high density development it has continued to be a desirable place to live. And the further down toward hwy 51 you go, and beyond, the nicer I think it gets.
