Me and my husband just moved to Charlotte in October 2007 after we got married from New York and last week found out I am pregnant. I have been looking for a OB GYN in Charlotte that has somewhat late hours or saturday appointments but can not find any. My husband gets out of work by 5:00 and picks me up by 5:30. Can anyone help? Thanks.

If you are on the south side of Charlotte, Carmel OB/GYN has some good doctors. Dr. Barnes (female) is excellent as is Dr. Meek (male). Dr. Solomon is very good too, but I'm not sure you could get in with him, as he may not be taking new patients. Had a friend who went to Dr. Megremis and he delivered her baby, and I definitely would not recommend him. He is a little pompous and he has no bedside manner. Don't usually like to say anything negative, but word of mouth is the best recommendation and if this is your first experience, I would steer clear of him.
