Whatever the case, you can bet that all cops are trained to protect themselves from what the see as imminent danger.

Whatever the case, you can bet that all cops are trained to protect themselves from what the see as imminent danger. A cop never shoots to cripple someone and have the city or town pay another multi-million dollar suit. So I suppose we can all intrepret that as we wish. Common sense will lean toward "neutralization" of the person making the deadly threat.

It is funny how dysfunctional families with missing fathers and mothers that don't give a crap about their kids come together when there is a possibility of a lawsuit and becoming rich. Who wins in the longrun? Drug dealers.

I don't see how the police departments in N.C. would be different than in other states.

He was commanded 10 times to drop the weapon and didn't. He dug his own grave. Stupidity loses again.
