Thanks everyone! No, I'm quite sure no one is pushy there! I get it that we don't have to participate. I'm trying to get a clearer picture based on where I live now, which seems to be like fraternity/sorority row. Most of the people in my neighborhood grew up here and never really went far for college and are now raising their kids here. It sounds like much of the area there is made up of transplants, which probably means I will find people who I can relate to better than I do here where they think THIS is the only place to have a good life. I'm excited for that!
