I live in a new house (built last year), and we put in a frameless shower. It is probably about 60 inches by 36 inches, and it was about $900. I will see if I an dig up the name of the company who did it for you...

That would be great if you could post or DM the name to me.
Cball I suspect that black's estimate is probably more accurate than ours because in our case we had to tear out and rebuild. Our work took several days whereas the actual installation of the glass door took only a half day.
I got an estimate from Barefoot & Co. for about $1900...not the number I was hoping for! May have to put this on the back burner for now! I'm still waiting to hear from the Glass Dr. They came last week so should have heard by now....think I'll call them....
OK, Loves, I'm going to try one more time to post my shower photos. I think maybe I'll get it this time. The photos don't really show off how attractive it is because our bathroom is so teeny that it's hard to get a good angle. Besides the window, mirrors and glass all reflect a lot.
I haven't seen one in Charlotte but my sister had one in Minneapolis. it was very good looking but, although it was about 6-8' deep, posed the problem of constantly allowing water to be splashed on the floor outside the shower. In spite of its many features and elegant look, I personally didn't care for it. I always felt as if I spent more time keeping the water from splashing than I did from getting clean.
