Just passed by the sign at the corner of 521 and Ardery Kell. We can't wait for it to open.

Or me having lived in WNY and going most places for wings or a good haddock fish fry...but there is one place that myself and all of me relatives who still live there say have better wings and fish fry's than WNY. Towne Tavern at Fort Mill. My brother was staying here for a month and it was his favorite place to go.

But as far as Big View...like I said $11 for lunch is a little high these days when you can go so many other places still and get a good lunch for $5-7.

Since this was discussed in painful detail in the "Found the only decent Pizza in the South" thread. We all know that if ALL the cooks aren't 14th generation cooks from NYC or LI or NJ then the food won't be worth the spit they hocked up on the grill.

BTW, I've had McD's in China. (Starbucks too) Not as different as you might think. The coconut milkshakes are awesome. I hear the cooks there are from LI though , so you know......

Big View Diner actually is "Big View Diner Sports Lounge" and the drawing of the design makes it look more along the lines of a large tavern than a diner (about the size of most newer Hickory Taverns). So, those of you getting excited for a diner are getting a sports bar. Oh, and the first brick hasn't even been laid, so it will be a while.

On another note, Mesquite Mexican Eatery is open right there.
