I think Davidson is a great little town in regards to aesthetics and the fact that it's a walking/biking friendly community. I'm not impressed at how they're developing the town (ie - planning). They've got two main roads through there that are basically two lanes each and the HIGHLY enforced speed limit is 25 mph. They've just installed two traffic rotary's on the highway side of town that confuse more people than help traffic flow.
I like walking around downtown and I enjoy the town. I do all I can not to drive through it though.
