Hello.. I know people have asked about dentists before, but I wanted to make it a bit more specific and ask if anyone has had a root canal and would like to offer me their most AMAZING dentist that did the job! I hate the dentist, who doesn't?? I also hate going to dentists I don't know, so i'd like to be the least nervous as possible. Perhaps an office with super high tech technology haha or something that would make the procedure as smooth as possible? I just need this reeeally large hole that's been sitting in my mouth since 2005 (yeah i know i know) taken care of already, it's just beginning to bother me 3 years later. OH, I'm on the North side if that helps..

I went through 3 root canals within the last year with dentist John L. Bishop. He made the process easy and almost pain free. Yes, I felt some pain, but I was able to go to work and function on the same day. Root canals are very costly.

He's located at: 3137 Springbank Lane, directly across from the Arboreteum. 704-444-9199

Awesome news thank you!!! you felt some pain during the process or the next day? I don't care about the aches and pains that follow the procedure, just mostly concerned about the procedure. I have had 2 before and they weren't bad, but every dentist is different..

I did not feel any pain during the procedure, I was in a little discomfort later in the day. Nothing bad, very manageable.

I've never been put under, you don't need to be put under.. just straight novacaine!!! I would also refuse to be put under for any dental procedure just because the thought of anesthesia scares the CRAP out of me!! Don't worry Supercharged, they will make sure you are completely numb so you really don't feel a thing, you may just be achy for a couple days after but to me that's nothin! I remember the first one I had I was extremely numbed (as you should be) and it kinda felt like I was in a tanning booth hahaha, just lay back and relax. I think i'm going to bring my Ipod..
