I should have something up by Tuesday. I'd find last year's LMS Tree lighting shots but I'd rather keep it current to this year. I know there's a couple of places with lights up, including a race car driver who's house is right across the street from where I am (and yes, he does have an inflatable).
good idea kinda motivation to post in that thread. When it not raining there is a car on cylinder block that gets deck out in christmas lights every year is coming soon . I figure if I take the photo at dusk it should turn out ok or any photos I take. I am horrible with night shots and know nothing about shutter speed or apertures

The problem with nighttime shots is that you need to have your shutter open for more than a second. That's more than enough time to have just the shake of you pushing down the shutter button blurring up your shot. You almost need a tripod and a cable release for a remote if you really want to do it right (I have the tri pod but not the cable release). Your digital camera may have a night mode to use which should help take something pretty good. If all else fails go automatic and hope for the best.
Great pics Sunny We have done nada toward decorating yet.
