Well, HOORAY!!!!!! Congratulations!!! And since I have relatives in STL and one has not been able to sell his condo for over a YEAR . . . I do think this was a Christmas Miracle!!!!!
What a relief - so glad things have fallen in place. WHEW!!!!!!
The circumstances could have been better. I mean, I'm $3000 in the hole selling this place, but at least I'm out from under it and can move on to someplace here in Charlotte.

My BIL is worse off than that . . . plus they put a renter in and are keeping their fingers crossed that nothing gets messed up (like carpet) in the condo.
Sometimes bailing out is about as good as it gets.
What area of the city is your house in? My BIL's is near Florrisant.
We did the happy dance when ours in Canada sold too. We were paying for that house and my DH to rent a place here for work. We all finally united in late Oct here.
jstevens - Congratulations! I'm sure this will make for a very merry Christmas! I finally got rid of my old NJ house in May and paid off the mortgage on this one! The feeling - Priceless! Welcome to Indian Trail, BTW! You'll love it!
