A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM EST
FOR EASTERN CABARRUS & UNION COUNTIES IN THE PIEDMONT OF NORTH
CAROLINA.


AT 905 PM EST.A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS REPORTED. THESE
STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 11 MILES EAST OF
MOUNT PLEASANT TO 5 MILES SE OF MOUNT PLEASANT TO 4 MILES WEST
OF MONROE.OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 4 MILES NW OF
ALBEMARLE TO 10 MILES WEST OF ALBEMARLE TO 4 MILES WEST OF MONROE.
MOVING EAST AT 65 MPH.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR.
WINGATE BY 915 PM EST.

THIS RAPIDLY MOVING LINE OF STORMS MAY CAUSE WINDS FROM 60 TO 70
MPH.& WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY LITTLE OR NO LIGHTNING. THESE WIND
SPEEDS ARE CAPABLE OF TOPPLING TREES & POWER LINES
. SEEK SHELTER ON
THE LOWEST LEVEL OF YOUR HOME OR OFFICE BUILDING. AVOID ROOMS THAT
MAY BE DAMAGED BY FALLING TREES. IF DRIVING.PULL OVER IN A CLEAR
AREA AWAY FROM LARGE TREES & POWER POLES.

Wow, thanks, Ani...just got out of class (the dreaded Civil Lit) and was practically blown off the front porch thing at the school. It was raining, but, I hardly felt the rain for trying to stay upright as I walked to my car! Good grief!! I didn't expect this kind of weather tonight!!

My poor dog almost blew away last night when we took him out before bed! He's a beagle, and the ears were blowing... reminded me of the Flying Nun... good times.

Ha! When my Bassett Hound was out in the yard and he turned to look at me he looked like Dumbo0 with his long ears flapping in the wind! Pretty funny!

Years ago in Colorado I had a paper route, the Chinook winds made it a real pain somedays!
Nail down the papers and avoid getting hit by shingles ect.
But did warm things up lol.
