both are just up the road in Asheboro

I doubt Phillips Bros would have a hog to cook, they just process Country Hams, Bacon etc...

Awhile back before I moved here, I read a NY Times article about Compare Supermarket... apparently a latin based market. There was a photo in the article with a sign in the window, "We sell whole pigs"

I know there is one on 74 between Matthews/Charlotte. I bet they can help.

I have bought a pig in Waxhaw. ...we cooked the pig in the ground! You can order the palm leaves online. It was a great Cuban party. Good food. Good friends.

They raise pigs and sell pork. I don't know if they would sell a 1/2 pig, but why not?
