Voice and Data Brokers (
www.voiceanddatabrokers.com) is seeking experienced telecommunications sales manager/professional to manage up to 10 contract sales associates selling telecom services of Tier I Carriers to new and existing assisting them in the renewal/upgrade process and paperwork for their (Embarq, Qwest, XO, MegaPath, Verizon, AT&T, etc.) voice and data business products. Duties include contacting existing and new customers throughout the US via telephone (80%), Internet (15%) and fax (5%) regarding sales of Voice and Data products. The ideal candidate will have +5 years of telecom experience with knowledge of Dynamic T-1s, Centrex, ISDN PRIs, DS1s and DS3s, DSL/Internet Access (DIA/MIS/MPLS), PNT, and Voice over IP (VoIP, HIPCS, IP Flex Reach) throughout the USA. Experience in dealing with and knowledge of paperwork processes with XO, Embarq, Qwest, Verizon, Ameritech, SBC, MegaPath, BellSouth, AT&T or any other Carrier, Reseller or CLEC products will lead to quick success. Experience with a communications agency/master agent would be helpful. A MINIMUM 5 years of Telecom industry experience PLUS an Additional 3 years of management experience is required.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position with very high commissions and sales objectives overrides. There is some selling involved, but most of your time will be spent managing a sales force. You are paid a portion of your team's sales. Successful candidate will be organized with ability to work without extensive supervision. High integrity, a strong work ethic, discipline, and a methodical approach to success are the qualities possessed by successful associates in these positions today. Candidate will work as a contractor from their own home office. All leads are provided by the LEC/Carrier. Multiple positions are available throughout the USA. Candidate must have high-speed Internet access, unlimited long distance is suggested due to the large amount of time spent on the phone each day.
