I'll keep this in mind, but is there anything closer in the Waxhaw area?

thanks

If you find one, let me know. You can take my blade with you since you are going anyway.

If you take Hwy 16 to downtown waxhaw and turl left on hwy 75 there is a lawnmower shop down on the right before you get to mineral springs that will sharpen blades.

I found it was just cheaper and easier to buy a new blade and replace it myself.

For the price of a couple of new blades you can get a recco'd bench grinder that will all you to sharpen these blades forever and you can use it to sharpen a lot of other stuff too. The Black & Decker outlet used to sell them for $29.95.

If you have a Dremel tool, the grinding wheel does a decent job, and you can sharpen it right on the mower without having to remove the blade. This is an easy job that can be done often throughout the cutting season.
