O.k. all of you from Florida. I love Publix cakes, but unfortunately they are not available here. We are having my son a birthday party on Saturday and I need a cake. I know Ingles cakes are good, too, but they are a little far away too. Any suggestions on comparable cakes?
Thanks

The closest Ingles is Albermarle. 25 miles, too far for a cake. Any other grocers that make good cakes?

I don't really like any of the cakes from the stores around here. There is a place in Pineville called Cakes, ETC. in Tower Place that makes FANTASTIC cakes. Honestly the best cake I have ever had. http://www.sinfullysweetcakes.com/

If you like ice cream cake, Bruster's is good. They aren't just made of ice cream. They actually have cake in them too.

Rosalie of Simple Occasions in IT is fabulous! Her cakes are awesome, she will create whatever you envision and her price is affordable! I've ordered cakes from her multiple times but she has even catered a Russian baby shower I hosted. Her meatballs are awesome! And, she delivers.

If you check her out, please let her know Sara sent you. You won't be disappointed.
