It's a horrible website design. Was so annoyed I didn't stay on long enough to figure out what it was about. Maybe if you had explained in your post what you were looking for.

Hi, CHI! I couldn't figure out what the movement is all about. It appears to be a request for donations to be handed out to the community but if there is an explanation about goals - other than hoping to somehow transform the city by giving folks items they may need - I didn't see it.

no, it is a call for everyone to join together to serve our community. Donations could be accepted, sure, but, the big push is for involvement.

"What if..." people would think of others and not themselves all the time.

There is going to be a one-day super effort to springboard this... (Sat Sept 12th) and, there are a number of different organizations that will benefit from everyone's help. After that, it will be ongoing...and, hopefully, just as large.

the unusual part of this is that three churches are partnering with other businesses and the community at large to make a difference in Charlotte.

Anything that brings folks together has to be good, but the website really does not explain what the effort is about. Setting up free clinics for the poor? Creating shelters for the homeless? After-school tutoring? Food Pantry?

The website explains there is a partnership and there are sponsors and there is a list of items that would be helpful as donations, but nothing explains what the purpose of the partnership is - what people are planning to do with the donations and how they plan to make a difference in the community.

What if the website actually told what its purpose was?

I totally agree CC with the other comments on the web site design. In addition, you can help the organization by making a stronger and detailed posting here on CD.

Searches on Google find there way to CD on MANY things related to CLT.If you would incorparate some keywords, tags, etc. with-in your title and content of your post I thin k you might generate more interest to your cause.

Based on the date of the event it looks like it's too late to re-design the site but you might be effective as a one man band by using the technique I'm recommending.

In addition, why not try the sub-forum to CD CLT "Christianity"?
