Great list! I was hoping someone would do this this year. Hopefully it can get "stuck"
Here's another event I saw.
Haunted Homesite
Description: Treat your family to a fun evening at the museum’s annual Haunted Homesite event! Families will have the opportunity to go on an outdoor tour with some scary surprises on the historic grounds of the Hezekiah Alexander Homesite. Inside the museum, enjoy a variety of hands-on activities, crafts, and storytelling. Learn about the Day of the Dead, a special holiday celebrated in Mexico, Central America, and in parts of the United States, held each year on November 1 to honor the dead.
Time: Oct. 24 6-9 p.m.
Cost: $5 for members, $7 for non-members
Address: Charlotte Museum of History, 3500 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, N.C. 28215
Web site: The Charlotte Museum of History

On Friday, 10/23, psychic Mary Beth Wrenn is hosting another evening at The Haunted Mill. I did this last year, and it was really fun, being able to explore old sections of the mill. She did a short gallery of a few readings before the event, and she had someone who talked about EVP, or electronic voice phenomena, and played a few recordings they had made. It was an interesting, different kinda night out!
