Asking the wife... can't think of anything myself. Nope, we can find anything we need here. It's not a foreign country. What I really miss about New Jersey is... well.. hmmm... we have some very nice friends in NJ and we miss them, but that's about it. It was nice that the liquor licensing was so screwed up in NJ that very few restaurants served wine so you could bring your own to some very nice restaurants. That was nice, but I just learned that many restaurants here let you bring your own even tho they serve wine. And of course NC is an ABC state so you have to go to a special store to buy booze, but we never buy booze so it's not an issue for us. Just lots of beer and wine which is available everywhere, just like in NJ.. well almost.
I'm a Jersey girl...but not your typical Jersey girl I wear $700.00 Brian Atwood pumps ,cook up a storm and love volunteering...I am as comfy in my heels as am in my six dollar Target shirt and my thirty dollar converse shoes...Not all girls from NJ are like that...
...and those of you who are wondering YES those "typical NJ girls are real and YES they are like that (the ones on the show)...I'm friends with girls like that...hmmmmm maybe that is why I moved haha! and WHERE CAN I GET A KNISHHHHHH?
Actually, my Ingles sells Vierra rolls (from the North Jersey bakery.) I introduced some locals to them & they love them. I have gotten good bread at Ingles & Lowes Foods.
I stand corrected. I'll have to find an Ingles store and check it out.
OP can forget about picking up a buttered hardroll at a 7-11 here (breakfast of champions in NJ). There are no 7-11's in NC from what I understand.
