Has anyone ever lived at The Landings Apartments in Huntersville? They don't look luxury from the websites and everything--but for the price at the location relative to Johnson and Wales as well as UNCC (where my girlfriend and I will be going to school) it can't be beat.

I want some honest opinions on the complex!!!!!

I don't expect luxury but I want low crime and not falling apart.

The Landing

The reason I like these is it ideal location within walking distance or short driving distance to birkdale village a popular shopping area. It also around the corner from a park and ride (express bus to uptown) and 2 lights down from the interstate but it is set back in a wooded lot buffer from highway noise and rift raft.

Here is photos of that new complex being built at Rosedale Shopping area off exit 23. It appears they will have alot of units considering I least counted about 8 if not more different structures and I think I saw a clubhouse and possible pool. Rosdale is a cute shopping center with a few restaurants and bar and first time I have seen two grocery stores across street from each other and two pharmacies stores. You will also be near interstate and good back roads in case traffic is backed up.

It one exit closer to uptown and very safe location. I think they are about done with one of the structures and I think there prices are reasonable.
Besides living in a brand new place I love the amenities you get with these.
here there website to check out the features and pricing

I lived at the Landings for a year. There wasn’t much crime or noise. You do get what you pay for though. They are older and the floors creak a little but not falling apart. Management is ok but the cable sucks! I have heard they are finally getting Time Warner but I am not sure. The maintenance guys are pretty good too. I loved living there because of the location most of all. I moved there because I needed something reasonably priced in a great location. The Landings turned out to be totally what I needed. I am thinking of moving back actually because of the good deals. Good Luck
