....are a fortune here!!!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone refer a good place with moderate prices. i am paying double here than in NY and i think it's crazy.......!!!

what area of town? and what did you pay in NY? I pay $18 for a fill-in at a place in Huntersville.

I'm with Girl. I pay $25 for a pedi in Lake Norman. Salon-spas are always going to be more (like Modern Salon).
We can give you ideas if, as girl said, you tell us where you want to go...

I've never seen lower prices on salon services than in NYC. I think it's because there are sooo many salons there. I got fantastic pedis and haircuts when I lived in Chelsea for a fraction of what I've found elsewhere. But this is the ONLY item I have ever found comparably cheaper in NYC!

Default Suggestion...

If you go frequently, you might look into beauty schools or academies. My aunt goes to one in my hometown and has been going for years, and I think her manicures are around $5 (she goes weekly).

I'm telling you some of these places around here I think are hosing us on purpose. They think we'll pay these prices. I paid 215.00 for a cut and color without tip

I just got a fill for 20.00 which is what I spent in NJ, I went to My Bella Spa in Blakeney....I have to tell you alot better than NJ too...Funny so far Ive found nothing more expensive than NJ other than Gas and even that isnt that far off anymore...

I usually pay 15 for a fill. My hair cost me 115-135 in AZ.
