That's what we ended up doing. Great price. Ended up being around $2 per lb which included a variety of steaks, roasts, stew meat, cube beef, ribs and hamburger.

If you are looking for a variety meat package, What's your beef in Waxhaw (and they have one in Ballantyne too) has packs of meat and all is good.

I had Bj's and Costco, and like them both for meat.

If you want grass fed and they will customize a freezer pack for you, try Bauscom Beef. They go to several farmer's markets and will meet you there.

I know Gilcrest Farms is looking for some people to go in on a part of a cow. They have great stuff!

ro z 5 in my search for CSA's (found a BUNCH!) I did see Bison on a few of the farms sites. google the terms
