The Huntersville Farmers Market is in full swing.
It is open every Tuesday and Saturday, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM., until October 27, 2007.
It is held under the Shelter at the corner of Main and Maxwell.
Look for the Red Caboose and you can't miss it.
Take Exit 23 off of I-77 Northbound and turn right onto Gilead Road and look to the left before you cross the railroad tracks.
Last Saturday sellers had fresh baked breads and cakes, fresh picked cucumbers, squash, tomatoes, fresh cut flowers & plants and a lot more to mention.
Sweet corn should be ready to sell in about another week according to one of the farmers.
All of the sellers are required by the Town of Huntersville to sell locally grown produce or made goods.
Take a drive and check it out, but go early.
I'll be carrying a single red rose if anyone wants to find me ;-). Actually, I don't look like I'm from Charlotte at all so I'm pretty easily identifiable!
maybe if they have banannas for sale we could all put bananas on our head then we would know who is from here
I go by there every now and then but yesterday I actually drove down the main st thinking ooooo i found some no traffic way to highway 73 haha .
If someone was looking for a non development home that would be ideal place and you would be near the future light rail.

No, this wasn't meant as an insult to people from Charlotte! I'm just very different looking from people around here as I'm half Indian and half Chinese.
That's cool! I am going to lurk around trying to find you now, haha
