You could consider 131 Main is in Blakeney Greens - great venue for groups/families. Also a great spot on a Friday/Sturday night as they have live music on the greens. It is somewhat pricey, but not too bad..

In case you feel like having Mexican food, Don Pedro's in Pineville is excellent. It's about 5 min or so down Rt 521 (Lancaster Highway) from Ballantyne Commons Parkway. These names will make more sense once you map them.
The Flying Biscuit at Stonecrest for all day breakfast is very tasty as well.
