Need Advice about Quail Hollow (Indian Trail: live in, price, move)

My DH and I will be attending for the first time on Sunday. We live in Indian Trail so are planning on parking in Ballantyne and take the shuttle, but was wondering what time people thought we should arrive. It states Tee Times start at 8am. How early would we need to get there to get a spot by a decent hole to watch?? Also what should we expect?? What kind of concessions do they have and how pricey are they? Thanks in advance for any help and advice you can give!!

You can go whenever you want. People move around from hole to hole depending on whichever golfer they want to watch. Hole 13 is my favorite to just park my chair, and a lot of it is in the shade.

You can expect it to be VERY crowded, especially around Tiger (blech), but the crowd is usually very polite. Concession lines can also be very long at times. They have standard stuff - burgers, chips, candy bars, pb&j, and there's one specialty tent with sandwiches and stuff. It's all pretty expensive, so expect to spend more than $20 for a lunch. Waters in the past have been $2 a bottle.

If you are going to go all day long, do yourself a favor and bring a bagged chair. It is totally worth the hassle of carrying it around.
