Can anyone tell me the safest, kid friendly neighborhoods and school systems? We are considering a transfer for my husband to commute to Dalton each day and we heard to stay away from Dalton. Most of the info I see is from 2006, 7 and 8.

Out of curiosity, why were you told to stay away from Dalton? I only ask because I grew up in Dalton (attended Whitfield County schools) and though I live in Gordon County now continue to work in Dalton.
