I know two days isn't sufficient to get the feel for an area; however, my wife and I will be visiting Chattanooga and the Tri-Cities area of TN in mid June. What downtown and boating areas should we visit to get a taste of the Chattanooga area? Interested in see popular night spots for adults, preference is for places that are attended mostly by working adults, professional and blue collar. Also interested in the best marinas to dock a houseboat, hopefully one with nightly entertainment. We spent a week last summer looking at the Knoxville area. We like the Cherokee Lake area. What should we see while visiting your area of the state? Looking forward to reading your suggestions.
