I'm hoping someone from the area can tell me what kind of neighborhoods a couple of houses are in. These a two of the houses I'm considering looking at and I want to know first and foremost if it's a safe neighborhood and also, what is in the area for things to do. Like outdoor activies, nightclubs, am very interested in Harley Davidson so if anyone would also know if there are any good biker friendly bars/pubs in the area.

The two addresses are:
2111 Davenport st, Chattanooga
and
1004 Tunnel Blvd (this one looks to be in the town of Tyner)

Any help I would be greatful. Also, if there is anything else you think might peak my interest.
Thanks,
Denise

Sorry but I don't think you would like it in either of those places if safety is a concern. Lots of hang abouts, crime, shootings etc... I would be nervous. People DO live there and have done so for years but I am not that brave. Also try craigslist and Chattanooga Times Free Press | Home Page for others.

Now for the good news! This is a cycler's heaven! We have some great weekly events that draw hundreds of bikers, Nightfall for example, and many many little pubs for our riding folks to gather. You won't be disappointed. Here's a thread with a little glimpse of what you are in for. See Splits photo insert

Friday night fun

As for outdoor activities, we have the lake, the river front, fishing, camping, mountains, you name it. Enough to keep you busy.
