Base price for a '09 Tahoe is $36,000 US. Could get as much as $60,000 US.

Isn't it crazy that you can option out a vehicle for almost twice its base price?

The pricing might be different in Saudi, there are probably import duties (taxes) and it really depends on what options you get on the truck.

I have no idea how the market for these vehicles is in Saudi, they may be in demand or may not.

Normally dealers will post the "asking" price on the vehicle's window.

If you check with at least 2 dealers you can see who is most willing to deal.

I think it's cool because it lets people pick and choose according to taste and budget.

I do think a $60K Tahoe is crazy, though.

That's solidly in M-B / Lexus / BMW / Audi territory, and Chevy doesn't play well there.

That the same way I looked at it. 46k for a fully optioned out model might make sense but 50k is already GMC Yukon territory and 60k brings in some pretty heavy competition from the German and Japanese luxury makes.
