Hi,

We are relocating to Naperville this summer. We are considering Chesterbrook for our 5 and 7 year old. Can anyone give me any feedback on the school? It is pretty pricey, so we would love any input regarding the curriculum, culture, etc.

Thanks

My neighbors have their girls there (1st and 4th grade) and they seem to like it. I personally looked at it when my children were younger but I did not like a few things about it and I found a better option to get them through Kindergarten. They started public school (D203) in 1st grade.

I primarily did not like what they offered for food....I thought the nutrition was horrible. That and I found that the classrooms were small and seemed isolated. There also didn't seem to have much in the specials (art, gym, music, etc). This was several years ago so things may hae changed.

Also, keep in mind that there is more than one Chesterbrook in Naperville so each may be different.

I am curious why you are not interested in the public school option?

My daughter turns 5 on sept 2, so we need to explore private school options. I really like Naperville Christian academy but they only offer half day kindergarten.
