Can anyone recommend a good endocrinologist specializing in thyroid issues? Preferably in the Southwest burbs, but I am willing to drive for a great doc. Thanks!

Also the Center for Healthy Living at Oak Park Hospital. The run a great Diabetic clinic. Dr. Judy Carter is one of the most experienced there but all the docs are good.

Wonderful, but I dont think 'diabetic clinic" will answer the questions of THYROID. Amazing, this has becom an epedemic to our generation. Why is our god given gland giving out--I really want to know the "why'' beyond the relief of symptoms.
