If mosquitoes only come out at night and the sun sets so late during the summer should it still be a problem for kids if there in the house by 9pm?

I didn't know that the Chicago suburbs were in Minnesota? I wasn't aware our large metro had grown so large.

Put a couple of Downey dryer sheets in your back pockets. One in each and you'll be fine. It's an old fisherman's trick, works everytime. They hate it.

Sure is!

On a side note, I havent had one bite all year. Ive been deep in the woods and had to pick up the pace because they were pretty bad, but out in the open? Not one problem in several years now.

I was bitten so often by mosquitoes growing up in Wisconsin that I am now pretty much immune to their bites. They just don't itch anymore. It's been years since I felt an itchy sensation from a mosquito bite.

They don't "only" come out at night, but it gets worse at night. Up in the Northwoods when it's been a rainy spring, you can literally hear the woods start to buzz as the sun sets.
