I miss the snow, the fast pace, the rush, life, noise, the people. I miss hats! I'm thinking of moving back to a change of seasons. I can only think of one place to go; home, back to Chicago.

How long have you been there? You might find that the city you left is much different than the city that welcomes you home.

I've been in Las Vegas for almost five years. I travel to Chicago most every summer, and I stay for a few months. I still love it and miss it so much. I was born and raised on the South Side. My status in life has been upped a bit. I don't have that kind of struggle anymore. Now that I've found this site, I'm missing it even more.

While I could totally understand wanting to move back to Chicago from Las Vegas especially for the change in seasons, I'm kind of perplexed why you would miss "the fast pace, the rush, noise, and life" comparing to Vegas.

I mean its Vegas. Now, do you mean you miss the fast pace, rush, life, noise of people actually at work, during working hours? Then I can understand Chicago compared to Vegas. Anything outside residents at work during working hours, I would Vegas is more "24 hour"

Vegas is only 24 in a certain area.

In chicago you got horns honking, people talking, vehicle noise in all areas.

Only areas that are major places of employment. Most of Chicago is generally residential with business on the main drags that cater only to the people in that neighborhood. And that is most of Chicago.

Yeah, that still happens in residential areas.
Especially with all the street parking. Does LV even have street parking?
