I know this forum is overrun with parking questions, but I'm at a loss. I've been on hold/transfered around with the city clerk office and have gotten no where. So here goes...

I currently have a zoned city sticker on my car for the 2010-2011 year which expires in June. However, on June 1st I am moving to a new apartment in a different zone. When I go to get a 2011-2012 sticker with my new zone is this still considered a transfer? It wouldn't be a big deal except the only office that I can get to without taking off work says that they do not offer transfer stickers, only new stickers.

So, any thoughts or insight?

A transfer of what?

Your current sticker expires in July, not June. When they start selling new stickers in about a week, bring your new lease in and get a sticker with your new zone on it. Keep your current sticker in your window until you move; then put your new sticker on. Problem solved.

The transfer I was talking about was for changing zones. The person I spoke to at the city clerk office said that normally when you move to a new zone, you pay $10 to get the new transfer sticker with your new zone number on it. No one was able to give me a clear answer on what to do when you move the same time new stickers are being sold.

But anyways, thanks for the help.
