Hello ok so here it goes been listening and looking and getting all sorts of confused! If I worked on North Michigan Ave and wanted a safe and peaceful neighborhood that I could easily walk to the train to go to work but not walk to far and feel safe when I got off work say 9pmish but also a neighborhood that I could walk to restaurants and shopping on the weekends and also sharing an apt for the 400.00 range where do you think that would be? and why?
Thanks

You would enjoy living up the north lakefront anywhere from Belmont to Bryn Mawr. You could take the express buses down Lake Shore Dr and not even have to bother with the el (as long as you stay pretty far east).

Extreme East Lakeview with all the shops and restaurants on Broadway would be great. However, that will be hard for 400.00. However, if you go up to Edgewater it is possible to find a 2 bedroom close to your desired share price. If you lived close to Andersonville that would fit the bill (and you could take the Red Line north to the Berwyn stop depending upon where in Andersonville). Yes. I would say somewhere close to Andersonville might work.

Good Luck
