What are some other Loyola-like caliber schools in the Chicago area? Are there any others besides Depaul?

Loyola recently sent me a letter saying they want my Fall 2011 Semester Grades as well before they can make a final decision. Anyone know anything about the reasoning a school might do this? The grades I sent in were really good, but I guess it was only 2 semesters. I'm a tad worried now.

I suspect that if you have current grades that are quite good (nothing less than a B...) they will admit you. Schools don't like students "running from failure" and for transfers that is too often a problem...

Just to let everyone know, I did indeed get into Loyola U Chicago. They also gave me a scholarship of 4 grand per semester, which is nice. Thanks all!

From a private education and experience, sure. But Northwestern and UChicago are on a whole different calibur in terms of academics of reputation.
