Which one has the most branches in Chicago? The areas important to us are The Loop and Streeterville/Gold Coast. Also, if anyone has a preference of BOA, Chase, or PNC, etc., please let me know.

I see Chase the most really. Citibank has a good number, PNC has started opening places within the last year or so, BOA has some, and US Bank has a few. Others are Harris and some other smaller ones. I'm pretty sure Chase has the most though.

Chase, TCF is also a possibility. Chase ATMS are in most walgreens, TCF ATMS and branches in most Jewel Oscos.

Chase has many branches and atms. Just make sure you have direct deposit into your account to avoid fees.

If you want a credit union, Alliant Credit Union has a giant membership base and is excellent in every regard. Stellar customer service.

Chase is everywhere, but if you want to bank local I would suggest North Community Bank. They're incredibly friendly, always offer local perks for signing up (gift cards to local businesses), they have snacks and water out for dogs and they always remember your name. Oh, and they have ATMs just about everywhere on the north side. Highly recommend them.

Chase by far. I actually love Chase and I know others do not. I have always gotten good service from them. They have a lot of small branch bank walk in facilities as well as ATMs which are all over. I also like the on line banking at Chase. I pay all my bills on line and its really easy.

A bank with the most branches is of little importance to me. I looked for convenience. Since I'm at work more than I'm at home during the week I looked for the bank closest to where I work. And I looked for a bank with many ATM machines, because my payroll is direct deposit and I use the ATM to obtain cash rather than walk up to a bank teller in a branch office. Remember, too, that you can obtain cash-back at all supermarkets, drug stores and many other retail outlets. You can consider all of these opportunities "branch banks."
