BREAKING: Lagunitas to build new brewery in Chicago | The Beeronaut

I'm not a big fan, but kind of cool.

They have some good beers. Of course I am a bit biased since a relative of mine owns a small % of the company, but they do have a few good stuff (like Lagunitas Pils).

Interesting for the location. Maybe that'll attract more film to come here now that they have a place to get their beer easily ;-)

They make some decent stuff. Before I clicked on the link I was thinking that the near south side would be perfect for a brewery, and there you have it.

It actually makes sense.. the area is a great area for breweries IMO.

Lagunitas is one of the best value "craft" breweries around, IMO. Low price, good quality, high ABV, yes please. Good news.

Good for the area, I think. Also, Lagunitas aren't annoying craft brewers like Stone Brewing in San Diego. Overall, good for the city, a few more jobs in manufacturing doesn't hurt.

I think their CEO Greg Koch rubs some people the wrong way.

I appreciate very much that they selected North Lawndale as the location for their brewery.

I don't care how annoying Stone may be, its black Imperial IPA may be some of the best beer out there now.
