Hi all,

My nine-year old wants to venture to the Lincoln Park Zoo and I will be staying in River North. I noticed I can get on the #156 to Stockton/Armitage right around the corner from where I am staying.

What time does it normally slow down during the morning midweek so the bus isn't so crowded?

Zero northbound buses will be crowded in the morning, as the rush hour traffic goes toward the Loop.

HA!! its all day!!!!!!

but really, 10:00 is about the time people not going to work go on the bus with the kids and stuff. so i think around 10:00 a.m. going downtown.. but on a saturday any time of day has been WORSE than rush hour,, very crowded, especially when the Taste of Chicago was going on, Christmas shopping, anything going on downtown like the fireworks on 4th of July, or such like that.
