The name was so perfect and fitting for the place... if you were at MRT you'd likely felt as if you'd been floating out into the sea, further and further from shore, into dark deep waters, for hours

Is that how it works? I don't think so, but not in the bar business, so could be wrong. I never hear about there being a limited supply of liquor licenses. Just a bunch of hoops to jump thought to acquire one.

I figured since the article says they're returning it to the city it's now gone. Also, I doubt if they'll allow someone to open a neighborhood bar with a 4am license. Also, with the 4am license its probably why they got 2 mill for the place. Think about what the building and bar for sale would have commanded on the open market...
