Hi, My name is stephanie and I am currently spending my summer in California, which is where I am from. My school has quarters, and it's for financial reasons that I have to take off summers. I got to california in late june and immediately began searching for an apartment/room as soon as I got home, because I know how hard it can be to find something. Despite starting my search so early, and emailing and calling hundreds of people, I still have no apartment or room to go home to in Chicago. I return to chicago on the 29th and I need to move into an apartment by october 1st. Heres the thing, I only need a place for 3 months, because I am going to spend my winter quarter on internship. Can anyone give me any tips or helpful information on finding housing in chicago? I am so desperate... My school is in goose island, and I use either the red or blue line to get to school. If anyone can help, that would be awesome. Thanks so much.
