Hello, does anyone know of any good haunted locations in or around the Chicago area? I'm interested in the paranormal, so was wanting to possibly check out some good spots.. I've heard that the Congress Plaza hotel is haunted & I'm thinking of checking it out.. The older and more historic the better..

Lincoln Park, which used to be a cemetery. As you go along Stockton Drive you will see an old huge headstone/memorial.

A few years back I did a Haunted Bus Tour and they took us to about a dozen sites. It wasn't typically a freight fest but moreso a site visit where a lot of deaths occurred and therefore were claimed to be haunted. From what I can remember, some of the sights were:
Jane Adams Hull House
Theatre District... Goodman Theatre alley fire?
Chicago River... Eastland sinking
Resurrection Mary?

There are lots of them and they are easy to find if you google. There is a site called Haunted Illinois. And of course the ghost tours.
