My dog cannot be vaccinated due to allergic reaction. His vet signed a detailed letter stating the dog could die from shots.
Finding a decent no frills groomer in this town is impossible for a special needs dog.
No special "do" or fragrance. Just a chemical free bath and clean up.
Mobile grooming is very expensive and no parking around here.
The spas in this neighborhood are quite pricey as well.
Any special needs groomers that have a shop in their home?

Which vaccinations is your dog missing?

Do you have recent titers?

If so, I can PM you the name of my groomer. But without recent titers, I'm afraid you'll be out of luck. It's just too dangerous for the groomer.

Thanks...that's what I am finding out. Called the vet and he said one would have to be specific...as for bordatello (sp?) Parvo, etc.
Since he had the extreme reaction to the combo it would be costly to isolate.
The dog had reactions the previous two times before the really threatening one in 2009.
I always used mobile groomers.
Trying to find something less expensive.

There are two older dogs that are no longer vacked, due to age here in my building. They both go to groomers only one had titers.
Back to so. Holland from Chicago to the friend of my vet.
Thanks again.

My groomer may be able to help. I don't want to post their name publicly. If you could send me a PM with an email address or unblock PMs, I'm happy to share her name.

I would consider doing your own grooming if your dog is not vaccinated. It's very possible he could pick up something bad at the groomer that he's not protected against.
