NY and Jersey are still A1 when it comes to pizz (though supposedly CT too).
It took me a long time to find thin crust pizza that I really liked in Chicago. I really like Piece Pizza in Wicker Park. It's actually New Haven style. Super thin crust and tastes amazing. I also like Orso's in Old Town. It's an Italian restaurant, but their pizza is thin crust and really good.

There's a lot of more neopolitan style pies for thin crust in Chicago that I like - Coalfire is one place I like.

Spacca Napoli makes the best pizza in Chicago IMO. Although if we're gonna talk nationally, Robertas in Brooklyn does it a little differently/better. Spacca is all about the soggy middle which Robertas cooks all the way through, which I prefer.

Although quite honestly once I bought a pizza stone and taught myself how to make dough, I can pretty much do the same thing at home these days.

Eataly's "neapolitan" pizza is actually pretty bad. Spacca Napoli is significantly better.

Yeah, forgot about Spacca Napoli. There was one a few years ago in Lincoln Park that was actually pretty good though I forgot the name. Bar Toma is also another one that has pretty good pizzas.
