How safe is the area around Logan and western. Does it come under Logan Square?
Planning to move into that neighborhood.
My wife is thinking of opening up a day care center in that area..any thoughts from locals about how viable that idea is...are there enough young families with kids in that neighborhood for the day care center idea to be a viable business model?

If you're too scared to move to Chicago, stay where you are. These questions are so annoying. And no, that area is for young adults not families with kids.

It is extremely safe, although St. John berchmans, with a fairly popular preschool program, is already right at Logan and Western, so maybe it's not the most ideal place to place a day care. Logan square is definitely a family friendly area too.

I lived a few blocks from there. It's very safe and there are many families.

Questions like these make me wanna jump off a bridge. Come on dude, your name is logan_square. That area is baller. However if you're scared of people, I suggest taking self defense classes. Because no matter if you're in a safe neighborhood or not, these are basic skills everyone should have.
